Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logging
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload shipments using appropriate equipment and verify cargo documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding route conditions and ETAs
- Represent Arlington Logistics with professionalism in client interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation systems
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must reside within 50-mile radius of Arlington, TX
