Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Enforce safety protocols and manage student behavior
- Maintain accurate route schedules and communication logs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and district policies
- Assist students with boarding/ exiting during all weather conditions
- Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License (Class D)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with P/S endorsements (training provided)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Patience working with children in a structured environment
- Flexible schedule availability (early mornings/afternoons)
