Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology while adhering to delivery schedules
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate with dispatch teams regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Ensure strict compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and warehouse personnel
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
