Responsibilities
- Operate heavy dump trucks safely and efficiently on various commercial job sites.
- Load and unload materials (sand, gravel, dirt, and rock) using skid steers or forklifts as required.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, dispatchers, and team members.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist in general yard maintenance and equipment care when not driving.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable experience driving dump trucks or similar heavy equipment.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Arizona traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable personal vehicle for commuting to and from work.
