Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy dump trucks to transport construction materials (soil, rock, asphalt) to and from job sites.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload materials using standard loading techniques and heavy machinery as needed.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, mileage records, and delivery manifests.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors regarding schedules and route adjustments.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience driving dump trucks in a commercial setting.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) in possession.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and Colorado road conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically fit with the stamina to perform manual labor and load/unload duties.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
