Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport parcels and packages to designated customer addresses within a strict timeframe.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure all items are delivered in perfect condition, handling signatures and confirmations accurately.
- Utilize handheld GPS and delivery software to plan the most efficient routes and navigate traffic.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, resolving any delivery issues with a customer-first mindset.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and vehicle cleanliness.
- Manage inventory within the vehicle and report any damages or shortages immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficiency in using smartphone devices for navigation, GPS tracking, and digital paperwork.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for safety instructions and customer interaction.
