Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/tractors) to deliver freight on time.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and logbooks.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check).
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required.
- Experience in flatbed, tanker, or dry van preferred.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle cargo straps.
