Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing of goods.
- Navigate delivery routes using GPS and mobile applications while adhering to time schedules.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling cash or digital payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- Update delivery status and report any damages or issues via the mobile app.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (or CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT) if operating a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must have a reliable smartphone with data plan for navigation and app use.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
