Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans in and around the Denver metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging device (ELD) records in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or Class B) is required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant) must be available for inspection.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle maintenance checks.
