Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class A or B CDL required) to transport goods to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
