Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) adhering to DOT regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes across Louisiana and neighboring states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Gulf Coast routes
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
