Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and tractor-trailers, to deliver goods to designated locations in the New York area.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures and confirming order details with customers.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage paperwork, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, and logbooks in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure zero accidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the PrimeHaul brand.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor vehicle issues is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading and unloading.
- Must have a valid DOT Medical Card.
