Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is accurate.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (Required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and trucking software.
