Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional deliveries within NYC metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Optimize routes to ensure timely delivery and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and local traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Proven experience operating box trucks in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during deliveries
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must own or finance your own box truck (24-26ft)
