Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Communicate with dispatch team for route optimization
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations
- Build client relationships through professional service
- Manage basic bookkeeping for business expenses
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable box truck (2008+ model) or ability to acquire one
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Smartphone with data for load tracking apps
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to pass background/driving record checks
- No experience required – training provided
