Responsibilities
- Safely operate a branded delivery van to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses along a designated route.
- Ensure accurate loading and unloading of packages using provided dollies and hand trucks.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience while adhering to all delivery policies.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile devices to manage package status, update delivery information, and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company guidelines to ensure the safety of yourself and the public.
- Uphold the Amazon brand image with a professional appearance and a helpful attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License required; must have a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills to ensure routes are completed efficiently and on time.
- Basic English proficiency for reading maps, signage, and communicating with customers.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
