Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Operate delivery vehicles, including performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensuring proper loading and securing of cargo.
- Follow designated delivery routes and adhere to time management standards to maximize efficiency.
- Interact professionally and respectfully with customers during every stop, handling inquiries and feedback appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area.
- Submit accurate logs and reports as required by company policy and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement, or Class A (depending on specific DSP vehicle requirements).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and a background/drug screen.
- Strong ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays, as business needs require.
