Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate commercial freight vehicles in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Cargo Handling: Load, secure, and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrivals.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery receipts, logs, and paperwork accurately.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and ensure satisfaction with deliveries.
- Compliance: Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a clean driving record.
- Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS systems.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the logistics industry.
