Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes in Minnesota and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately maintain delivery logs, vehicle maintenance records, and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading operations with attention to freight security and condition
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Adapt to changing delivery schedules and weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of Minnesota roadways and regional geography
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
