Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict schedules and safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Supervise student behavior during transit and enforce bus safety rules
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch teams
- Adapt routes for field trips and special events as needed
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger/School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Child safety certification or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Clean driving record and background check clearance
