Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Enforce student discipline protocols per district policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Maintain accurate attendance and incident documentation
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist students with mobility needs during boarding/exiting
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with P/S endorsement
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Albuquerque residency preferred
