Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local freight deliveries within Maricopa County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each shipment
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimized routing and on-time deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading operations with proper equipment techniques
- Communicate shipment status to clients and warehouse teams
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance and registration
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Glendale metro area navigation
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for vehicle maintenance
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and communication apps
- Flexible availability for weekday shifts (20-30 hrs/week)
