Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport across construction sites and delivery routes
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all transport activities
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with dump trucks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of local Jersey City and surrounding area roads
- DOT medical certification and required safety training certifications
- Excellent time management and communication skills
