Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul freight delivery across Alaska and contiguous states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspections, and paperwork documentation
- Plan efficient routes while adapting to changing weather and road conditions
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and report vehicle issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Alaskan highways
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Must reside within 100 miles of Anchorage
