Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in a safe and legally compliant manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and dock personnel regarding cargo status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with limited or no moving violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle across state lines.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
