Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all FMCSA regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs and records for all trips.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Uphold a professional image and safety culture at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of cargo handling and road safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays as needed.
