Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL required) to transport goods on established routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
- Use GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery routes and timelines
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delays or issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT physical certification and medical card current
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging (ELD)
