Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A or B trucks safely and efficiently on regional routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secured and protected.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and manage delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding routes and delivery schedules.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and reporting.
