Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, dirt) to job sites
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with site supervisors to coordinate material delivery schedules
- Perform minor vehicle troubleshooting and basic repairs as needed
- Load/unload materials efficiently using proper equipment techniques
- Maintain clean vehicle appearance and organized cab workspace
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Strong knowledge of local roads and construction site safety standards
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and trip documentation
- Physical capability to climb equipment, lift 50+ lbs, and work in all weather
- Excellent communication skills and reliability punctuality
