Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided late-model tractors and trailers
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage efficient delivery schedules while prioritizing on-time performance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Utilize GPS technology for optimal route planning and fuel efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch team for seamless load coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and electronic logging
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle multi-day solo driving assignments
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance situations
