Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses in Jacksonville, FL, and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery information and obtain digital signatures upon completion of each route.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, handling inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations during every shift.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep accurate records of delivery logs and mileage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Reliable smartphone for navigation and delivery confirmation apps.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments.
