Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods across designated routes in Detroit
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures from recipients
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload merchandise securely and verify order accuracy
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong knowledge of Detroit metro area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
