Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food and merchandise to customers across Chicago using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate delivery status updates via our mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, including order verification and issue resolution
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while navigating Chicago's dynamic urban environment
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maintain on-time performance
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to operate standard transmission vehicles preferred
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication abilities with customers and team members
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
