Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to customers across Austin within specified time windows
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal condition
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required customer signatures
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to optimize routes and minimize delivery times
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and maintain organized cargo areas
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Represent SwiftLogistics with professionalism during all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to safely operate vehicles up to 26 feet and lift packages up to 60 lbs
- Strong knowledge of Austin roadways, traffic patterns, and delivery zones
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL preferred
- Proficient with mobile delivery apps and basic technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
