Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles adhering to FMCSA regulations
- Deliver freight to designated locations on strict schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Collaborate with dispatch for efficient route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and proper loading/unloading procedures
- Represent Swift professionally with excellent customer service
- Comply with all safety protocols and DOT requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (A or B)
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for overnight travel and irregular schedules
- Willingness to complete Swift's orientation program
