Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans for local deliveries and pickups.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper handling equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and minor repairs as needed.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Valid DOT medical card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.
- Reliable personal vehicle for getting to and from the terminal.
