Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in a professional and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and all required documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in excellent mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Clean driving record with no major violations (MVR acceptable).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, traffic laws, and vehicle operation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
