Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (26k+ GVW) on local/regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Load/unload shipments with proper documentation handling
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance reporting
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch regarding shipment status
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia metro area and surrounding regions
- Experience with flatbed, dry van, or reefers preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting abilities
- 1+ year recent verifiable driving experience
