Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on designated routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedule changes and route deviations.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company traffic laws and safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo securement procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
