Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
- Operate in diverse weather and road conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Texas or Georgia)
- Minimum 1 year driving experience preferred but not required
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills
