Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) across designated routes
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) - NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for load calculations
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Clean driving record (3+ years preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
