Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/trailers) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Deliver freight to destinations across Washington and the Pacific Northwest
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict safety standards and defensive driving practices
- Report maintenance issues and participate in fleet safety programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Washington state highways and roadways
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored CDL training if needed
