Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Southern California
- Plan and execute efficient delivery schedules while adhering to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of freight and secure cargo according to safety standards
- Utilize GPS technology for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California roadways and delivery regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
