Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, tractor-trailers) for local deliveries in Philadelphia metropolitan area
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Manage remote administrative tasks including route planning, delivery documentation, and customer communication
- Ensure strict compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adapt to dynamic schedules and weather conditions while maintaining on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for remote admin tasks (email, navigation apps)
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
