Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers) within Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Load/unload freight efficiently using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance
- Collaborate with dispatch team via remote communication tools for route optimization
- Uphold strict safety standards and secure cargo protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B driver's license permit (CDL training provided)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math and navigation skills (GPS proficiency)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for on-site shifts
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Must reside within 30 miles of Long Beach, CA
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
