Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver products on time and in full.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) logs and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR check within last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and vehicle handling.
- Experience with logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
