Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DVIR) and records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Basic math skills for fuel and mileage tracking.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver cargo.
