Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on tight schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle logs
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and real-time traffic data
- Load/unload shipments with precision and safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain accurate records
- Participate in ongoing safety training and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A/B)
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Flexible availability including nights/weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
