Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) safely on local delivery routes throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and driver's logs in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no more than one preventable accident in the last 3 years.
- Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored entry-level training programs.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and a customer-service mindset.
