Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs (DOT regulations) and electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and paperwork.
